In early February 2022 we did 5 clinic days in 4 different locations in Guatemala. We performed eye examinations and provided 209 pairs of glasses to patients at no cost to them. We also screened for any eye diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy. As this was our first trip to Guatemala, we tried to make some connections to establish where there might be need for eye care and to see if International Vision can help. Our next trip there is scheduled for May 2022.
